p1 Technologies Hosts First Annual Security Summit Featuring Keynote Address by Former Federal CIO Tony Scott

Los Angeles, CA, May 9, 2019 – p1 Technologies hosts their first annual Security Summit featuring keynote speaker Tony Scott, former Federal CIO of the United States under President Obama.

The 2019 Security Summit, presented by P1 Technologies, is an exclusive, informative and engaging security symposium. The one-day event will be attended by IT officers and executives from some of the world’s most recognizable organizations and guests will have direct access to those advancing the next wave of cyber security conventions and governance. Thought leaders, top advisors and titans of technology will share their front-line experiences, and presentations by innovators from MixMode, Security Scorecard, Stellar Cyber, StrongSalt, Templarbit and Valimail will reveal the latest strategies and solutions to securing corporate and customer data. The event will also include a focus on philanthropy by human-I-T , a nonprofit dedicated to shrinking the digital divide by providing low-income households and other nonprofits with computer systems, broadband internet, and digital training. Human-I-T will share their strategy and the opportunities for other tech companies to help empower at risk community members and reduce landfill by diverting thousands of pounds of e-waste every year.

The p1 Security Summit dovetails off the company’s signature annual event, the Technology Summit, held annually since 2014, in Manhattan Beach, California. Chief Technology Engineer, Jeff DiNisco, explained, “The explosive growth of data and connected devices in an increasingly mobile and cloud-defined world comes with rapidly evolving risks to the enterprise. IT teams must continuously refine their security measures to mitigate broad and often sophisticated threat vectors without hindering access to data. Simultaneously, businesses must ensure that they are good stewards of the private information they possess for both employees and customers. The challenges are immense.”

Aaron Cardenas, p1 Technologies Founder and CEO noted, “There is no better way to launch a summit focused on security than hosts the highest ranking CIO in the United States – we’re honored and excited to have Tony Scott kick off the conference.”

Mr. Scott is currently a Managing Partner at Ridge-Lane LP, Chairman and CEO of the TonyScottGroup LLC, and a Senior Advisor for Data Privacy and Cyber Security at the global law firm of Squire Patton Boggs.
